2️⃣ Required nitrogen purity
99.9%, 99.99%, 99.999% — only what the process actually needs
3️⃣ Required delivery pressure
Pressure at the point of use, not just at the generator outlet
4️⃣ Operating hours
Continuous, batch-wise or intermittent duty
5️⃣ Average vs peak demand
Many systems are oversized because only peak demand is considered
6️⃣ Application requirement
Oxygen limit, dew point, product sensitivity and process conditions
7️⃣ Future expansion & redundancy
Planned growth, standby requirement and criticality of nitrogen supply
Why does this matter?
Because two plants needing the same nitrogen flow can still require completely different systems.
The correct nitrogen generator is not selected by flow alone.
