Moisture in compressed air can promote corrosion, disrupt pneumatic equipment and increase contamination risk in food processing and packaging. A heatless desiccant dryer uses two adsorption towers: one dries the compressed air while the other regenerates using a portion of dry purge air. This simple arrangement can provide a stable, very low pressure dew point without external regeneration heaters. For food-industry service, the dryer must be sized for inlet temperature, pressure and peak flow, and paired with appropriate filtration, drains and dew-point monitoring. Regular desiccant and valve maintenance protects both air quality and production reliability.
