Description
The FS Curtis EX Series Oil-Free Screw Air Compressors are high-capacity, Class 0 certified compressed air systems engineered for mission-critical industrial applications requiring absolute air purity and maximum energy efficiency. Available in the 100 – 370 HP range, the EX platform utilizes advanced dry oil-free screw compression technology with precision-timed rotors and non-contact compression chambers.
The airend incorporates high-strength alloy steel rotors with specialized anti-corrosion coatings ensuring durability under high temperature and humidity conditions. Timing gears synchronize rotor motion without lubrication contact, maintaining 100% oil-free air delivery.
Two-stage compression with intercooling significantly improves volumetric efficiency and reduces specific power consumption by up to 3–4% compared to conventional designs. Independent auxiliary oil pumps lubricate bearings and timing gears while remaining isolated from the compression chamber.
Integrated low-pressure drop coolers, stainless steel piping, and centrifugal cooling fans ensure superior thermal management. The 3-box modular cooling structure separates airend, motor, and cooling airflow zones for optimized heat dissipation.
Advanced electronic controllers provide real-time monitoring, load/unload optimization, condensate auto-drain systems, and predictive diagnostics. Optional VSD control further enhances part-load efficiency.
Sound-attenuated enclosures with vibration-isolated mounts reduce operational noise by 4–7 dB. These compressors are ideal for pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, food & beverage, electronics, textiles, petrochemicals, and instrumentation air systems.
