In electronics manufacturing, pressure dew point (PDP) is a process-control variable—not simply a dryer specification. SMT equipment, PCB assembly lines, laser systems and pneumatic instrumentation can be affected by moisture condensation, corrosion and unstable valve response. For a –40°C or –70°C PDP compressed-air system, the dew-point sensor should be installed in a conditioned sampling assembly with controlled flow, correct pressure and protection from liquid carryover. Trending PDP through a Modbus dew-point transmitter or BMS allows maintenance teams to detect desiccant degradation, purge-valve leakage and switching faults before product quality is affected. KK Techno Solutions supplies SM Series dew-point meters, sampling units and adsorption-dryer solutions for verified compressed-air moisture control.
